
Walnut and cranberry bread
Ingredients for 500g bread:
170 g wheat flour
30 g wholemeal wheat flour
15 g wholemeal rye flour
45 g walnuts
30 g dried cranberries
30 g olive oil
185 g water at room temperature
5 g sea salt
10 g sugar
Preparation:
- Cut the nuts into smaller pieces.
- First, place the wet ingredients – water, oil, sugar, and salt – in the baking dish of the bread maker.
- Next, add the nuts, cranberries, rye flour, wheat flour, and dry yeast.
- Set the dough mode on the bread maker with a 25-minute timer.
- Then set the fermentation mode with a 30-minute timer.
- Finally, set the baking mode and adjust the timer for 1 hour 35 minutes. Choose medium or dark loaf setting if available (optional).
- Once the bread is ready, remove it from the baking dish and let it cool for at least 1 hour before slicing.
