Espresso
This drink is the truest Italian classic. To brew it properly, the hot water is run through one portion of ground coffee for 25 seconds. The crema, a thin layer of firm coffee foam, forms on top of the espresso.
Preparation:
- Place a small cup or glass under the coffee machine.
- Brew a single espresso shot into the cup or glass.
- Serve with a glass of sparkling or still water.
