Chocolate buns with bananas

Ingredients for 4 rolls:

4 sheets of puffed yeast dough
100 g chocolate
1 banana
1 egg

Preparation:

  1. Cut each pastry sheet in half to make two squares.
  2. Place a sliced banana and chopped chocolate in the center of four pastry squares.
  3. Place the remaining four pastry squares on top of the filling.
  4. Using a fork, carefully press the edges of each pair of pastry squares together to seal them.
  5. In a bowl, beat the egg and brush it over the tops of the pastry squares.
  6. Use a knife to cut a cross or a couple of slits in the middle of the top pastry layer to allow steam to escape during cooking.
  7. Place the pastry squares in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  8. Air fry at 180°C (356°F) for 12-14 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown and crispy.
  9. Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before serving.
