Chocolate buns with bananas
Ingredients for 4 rolls:
4 sheets of puffed yeast dough
100 g chocolate
1 banana
1 egg
Preparation:
- Cut each pastry sheet in half to make two squares.
- Place a sliced banana and chopped chocolate in the center of four pastry squares.
- Place the remaining four pastry squares on top of the filling.
- Using a fork, carefully press the edges of each pair of pastry squares together to seal them.
- In a bowl, beat the egg and brush it over the tops of the pastry squares.
- Use a knife to cut a cross or a couple of slits in the middle of the top pastry layer to allow steam to escape during cooking.
- Place the pastry squares in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Air fry at 180°C (356°F) for 12-14 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before serving.
