Fries and cheese waffles

Ingredients for 2 servings:

300 g frozen French fries
100 g shredded Cheddar cheese
Tomato sauce for serving

Preparation:

  1. Thaw the French fries at room temperature for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Place the fries tightly together in a toaster with a waffle plate. Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded cheese on top and close the toaster.
  3. Cook for at least 5 minutes until the cheese turns golden brown and fat drains to the bottom. This will ensure the fries are crispy and the waffle can be easily removed.
  4. Serve with tomato sauce.
