Cottage cheese waffles
Ingredients for 2 servings:
180 g low-fat cottage cheese
1 egg
120 g milk (plant-based alternatives also work)
120 g whole wheat flour
1 tablespoon sugar or other sweetener
Vanilla sugar or vanilla extract
Ground cinnamon to taste
Berries or fruit for serving
Maple syrup for serving
Preparation:
- In a bowl, mix all the ingredients until you get a smooth batter.
- Pour the batter into a preheated toaster with a waffle plate insert. Cook until golden brown.
- Serve with berries and maple syrup.
